OWNERS REMARKS Pippi II has been owned jointly for the last 5 years by three owners who have just completed a three-year circumnavigation in her. For this reason she is a very well equipped and sound vessel. She has proven to be the idea very strong, safe and practical boat for long distance cruising and living on. She is a vessel that you can be totally self reliant in, in the most far flung parts of the world. The Perkins engine has been proven very reliable and easy to find parts in such out of the way places as French Polynesia, Sri Lanka, and New Zealand. Pippi II being professionally completed using standard and well know makes and brands of gear and equipment common in yachting throughout the world, makes sourcing gear locally abroad or picking up the phone and mail ordering parts relatively easy. She is an excellent steady ocean cruiser with idea capacities in terms of fuel and water for the long distance she is designed for. The large comfortable spacious centre cockpit is ideal for the large amount of time likely to be spent living above decks in the hotter climates of the world, or great in the more temperate zones with the cockpit tent. The fact that there have been three owners has meant that she has been maintained well throughout their ownership especially with regard to preparations for the circumnavigation. Her long recent commission may mean attention will be required on the hull below the water line. This Victory/Trintella design has been proven to still be one of the best designs for the long distance blue water cruiser and for this reason is much sought after.
